SATURDAY 7th May - Rugby Finale @ UNDERHILL (not Bish) - 9.30am meet!

Hope all you predators enjoyed the Easter break and the weather, not like me who went to Spain had a great time with the family, however suffered lots of wind and rain for the first week!!!

U7's - BBQ food, games and selling refreshments !!

As you know from previous blogs, this Saturday is our chance to raise some welcome funds for next season and maybe even raise enough cash for some new kit? There is lots of rugby on the park from 10.30 am onwards and later in the day some cricket for those who may want to hang around a little longer. The touring side are bringing circa six sides so fingers crossed for some good weather and lots of customers as we have gambled on plenty of stock to sell! We will offer the following :

BBQ, REFRESHMENTS, TEA, COFFEE, SNACKS, CAKES, RAFFLE ETC.

With regards to the raffle table,  please can I ask for a contribution from each player/ family. We plan to sell tickets for £1 so if you can manage please bring a bottle of  Plonk or a Box of Chocolates or a small rugby present that we can offer as prizes. As far as the rest of the stock is concerned that has already been purchased and it is up to us to sell and have some fun along the way!! Liz (Josh's Mum) & Natalie (Wills Mum) have kindly offered to bake some cakes and run the snacks stall, Spencer has volunteered to be head chef for the BBQ ( I'm sure there will be plenty of others who will want to flip a burger or two). The coaches will also get stuck in as well. I will have plenty of jobs for others so please don't be shy and get stuck in like a proud predator parent!!!  It would be nice if all predators could meet at 9.30 - 10am even though our game is a little later so we can set up, I have tables for the stalls etc and Tony has whipped the school Barby for the day, however any gazebos, chairs you have please bring them along if you wish so we can use them just in case we have the dreaded rain. See you all then!!

On to the Rugby.

Its hard to believe that we are at the end of the rugby season and next year will be our last season of tag. We finish this year hosting  Gwernyfed RFC (kick off 11am), I am reliably informed they are a strong team!
In traditional format we will all be welcoming the under 6's from the beach and formally introduce them to the grass game, so we also can look forward to some fun mixed age games.

Thanks Again - Jon
