Driving rain and wind didn't stop the Predators!!

Well Done all players old and new today for the extra efforts in the pouring rain and wind in what were some particularly strong visiting rugby teams . The three games played were very competitive on and off the park and although we faced a very strong Bridgend side we did get our first win on our new pitch over Fall Bay.

The predators welcomed three new starters this week and also the return of some old faces who made excellent contribution to the rugby enjoyed by all. Tony, Dave, Chris and I have decided to take a maximum of twenty registrations this year which means we only have circa five places left. So any school friends are welcome. Please pass on the word.

At the end of this season we will be saying goodbye to the tag belts and tags and from what I witnessed today I feel all the boys will enjoy what next season has to offer. Nevertheless we will be looking more closely at the semi contact game on Wednesday nights (indoors over the winter) to stand the predators in good stead for next season. Before mid-week training starts I would like to get all the parents together to pass on some latest news from the club and talk about fixtures this year and next. I am not available this week as i am on the bike for charity, however keep an eye on the blog over the next few weeks for the date and time for the get together.

The plan for the next few weeks is as follows:

25/09/11   Home Training - Contact Tony, Chris or Dave for this week.
 02/10/11   Morriston (a)
 09/10/11   Gowerton (h)

See you all in two weeks - Jon.
